What the devil is going on here?!

Mammoth's tusk found in German train tunnel

21

Construction workers in the German city of Duesseldorf have found a 10,000-year-old woolly mammoth tusk.

The 34-kilogram, 1.2-metre long tusk was found in the city’s underground rail network and was taken away for scientific study.

The tusk was the only part of the animal found during the dig, some 12 metres below the surface.

Woolly mammoths died out in the region around present-day Germany some 10,000 years ago.

This headline flashed across the bottom of the news when I was making myself a cup of tea and I thought I’d share BECAUSE IT’S SO COOOOOL!
