Christian Group Finds Gay Agenda in Anti-Bullying Day

The American Family Association is urging parents to keep children home on a day when schools encourage students to eat lunch with someone they don’t usually speak to.

This is absolutely ridiculous. It’s great to have faith, but when you use it to condone hatred and malicious bullying, then you are wrong. You are just so wrong, and there is no justification. Not only are you being a horrible human being, but you’re also being a horrible Christian. The basis of Christianity is about love and mercy and redemption. You want to claim that you’re “persecuted” and that no one respects your beliefs and that you’re just sticking up for yourself? I don’t think so. You can’t hate, abuse and hurt other people and expect them to see God in you. God is NOT in that. That’s not love.

Annnnd reasons why I no longer associate myself with the term Christian. I’m finding it really hard to articulate myself through my blinding rage. THIS IS COMPLETELY AND UNDENIABLY WRONG. Amy is 100% right. This is THE OPPOSITE OF CHRISTIAN VALUES but yet that is the representation Christians get and sadly the compass many Western Christians follow. You know who Jesus spent his time with on Earth? The outcast, the prostitutes, the condemned, the sick, the hated. You know who he largely fought against and ignored? The church.

NOT ONLY DOES THIS ABSOLUTELY DESTROY THE POINT OF THIS DAY FOR THE CHILDREN WITH PARENTS HIDEOUS ENOUGH TO REMOVE THEM FROM IT, IT ALSO PERPETUATES THE OPPOSITE OF THIS DAY’S AND GOD’S INTENTIONS. Imagine what a child is supposed to think when their parents won’t let them go to school because “they want you to hang with those gay kids and we can’t let that happen”. They are royally fucking up another generation and I am incensed. I’ll be writing a very strongly worded letter to them ASAP and I suggest you do the same.
