AUSTRALIA IT IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT SUMMER AUSTRALIA YOU ARE STRANGE
Things that makes sense:
- Having summer at the end of the year so that the end of the educational year coincides with the actual end of the year and the large summer holiday - which extends over Christmas and New Years - providing plenty of time to relax before and after Christmas and plan trips to see family and have as many parties and events you like to celebrate the end of year and the start of a new one.
