Anything Goes was so good! In particular, Anything Goes and Blow, Gabriel, Blow were phenomenal performances from the whole cast. Beautiful.
I really really wish I could have seen this…
This is INCREDIBLE. Though I do prefer Patti LuPone’s voice. But I love the arrangement of the song and this whole performance is SEX. Having been in a very average community theatre production of this show it is amazing to see it done so well.
Whenever I sing Anything/Anything I want to hold the ‘Yes IIIIIIIIIII’ note at the end for longer than Lindsay but I can’t bring myself to miss the nice ending.

I actually loved this. A lot. I was surprised that the mere fact Lindsay was doing it didn’t completely spoil this for me.

Because, obviously, if I’m a natural mover anything with a strong beat is easy to move to.
056. I have been in two community theatre musicals: Oklahoma and Anything Goes.
Both were at this tiny theatre that seats 100 and neither were very good. It wasn’t like in the movies where everyone is surprisingly super talented. I thought I’d just rock up and find that people were as good as me (pretentious but true).

This was the last musical I was in and naturally we rehearsed it so many times and had so many personal jokes - as you do in musicals - that I can’t think of this song without thinking of many people and friends I made in that show.
I was in this show! This looks about 27 times better than the production I was in though. Partially because their stage is about 7 times bigger than ours. And they actually have more then 10 people in the chorus. And lots of them can tap well.
