AUSSIE FOODS THAT NON AUSSIES HAVE TO TRY BEFORE THEY DIE;
- Vegemite
- Tim-Tams
- Lamingtons
- Shapes
- Fairy Bread
- Cottee’s cordial.
- Anzac biscuit
- Milo
- Allens Jaffas
For anybody wondering:
- Vegemite - is a spread, like peanut butter or nutella except it is the colour of tar, is made of yeast extract and is salty as all hell. It is wonderful.
- Tim-Tams - a type of chocolate biscuit.
- Lamingtons - basically a sponge-cake rolled in melted chocolate and then coconut.
- Shapes - flavoured savoury biscuits hat are pretty much the best things ever. There are stacks of flavours such as barbeque, pizza, cheese and cheese and bacon
- Fairy Bread - A snack that every child has growing up. It’s bread with butter and hundreds and thousands on it.
- Cottee’s cordial - like your usual water-mix cordial except way better.
- Anzac biscuits - A sweet type of biscuit that have some association with the ANZAC’s that i’m not going to get in to. Some are crunchy, some are chewy (Chewy ones are better!), they all rule.
- Milo - On the tin it says ‘malted barley’ but basically it is this sort of thick chocolate powder that mix with milk and have hot or cold. Or you put it on ice-cream. Or in cookies. Or just eat it out of the tin.
- Jaffas - Little, malteser-size balls of chocolate covered in an oranged flavoured MnM-like shell.
Basically, Australian food is awesome.
I approve of this post! It honestly was a little shocking to realise how dull all your non-Australian food lives must be!

STUFF THAT’S APPARENTLY ONLY AUSTRALIAN - PART I
Fairy bread: bread with hundreds and thousands sprinkled on it, cut into triangles. THE TASTIEST SHIT EVER.
Caramello Koala: Cousin of Freddo; a chocolate bar in the shape of a koala, filled with caramel. Eat from the feet up or DIE.
Crunchie: Like violet crumble; chocolate bar with a honecomb center.
Cherry Ripe: A chocolate bar with a cherry/coconut filling. It has been said that if you eat a Cherry Ripe you’ll go over the limit on a breathalyzer test as they contain ~secret alcohol~.
Wizz Fizz: The flyest sherbet on the block, comes with its own little bitchin sherbet shovels you use to scoop up from the bag and eat.
No way! No one else has this stuff?! Well, the Koala was a bit obvious…

This was NOT Australian…it sounds more cockney English. Which is entirely possible because they use the word ‘mate’ over there too. But it was just not an Australian accent at all.
