It is also beautiful but now you realise how much esoteric value the Glee version has.
Amazing.
It’s 2am in the morning here on the east coast of Australia and I have just stumbled across beauty. This is a duet of Happy Day Are Here Again/Get Happy as performed by the breathtaking Barbara Streisand and Judy Garland. Furthermore, it is my pleasure to find new esoteric value in Glee’s rendition of what I previously thought to be an original mash-up created for the show. Note that Rachel and Kurt were wearing synonymous costumes to those donned here by Streisand and Garland and performed with similar mannerisms - I have no doubt this was a concious choice.
Excellent. Now that I have successfully out-gleeked myself and out-nerded myself here, I can go to sleep.
