What the devil is going on here?!

Darn!

Someone wrote “LOSER” on one of my YouTube videos - actually, ‘Ain’t No Way’ which Amber Riley herself seemed to like well enough (take that bitch). But, I was going to write “You wanna be a loser like me” in reply but the comment was already deleted… Who knows what went on there. I have my theories of course and I think it went something like this:

Person:

*Watching awkward opening spiel* “Who is this weirdo?”

“I’m a tosser so I think I’ll call him a loser! Yeah, that will be constructive in some way!”

*Posts comment but the video is still playing and I start to sing* “…um, what?”

“…I…I…was not expecting him…to…do things…good…”

*Stare at the screen with wet, moved eyes as I finish my solo* “…”

*deletes comment*

Me:

I think one of the best parts of getting that comment is that I wasn’t even bothered by it. If YouTube taught me anything, it taught me confidence in my abilities and resilience to negativity - because I received so much doubt and negativity from it’s users and I learnt to deal with it.

"My sister keeps calling me a loser because I like Glee and stuff but if anything I take it kind of as a compliment now. Like, “thanks, I’d rather be a loser than have any of this ‘normal’ business."

One of my best friends said this to me tonight. I love how Glee has changed people I know for the better.

One of those moments when people suck.

Edit: Make that two…

"how and why the fuck are you liveblogging glee when it already aired. if we wanted it on our dash a second time, we'd follow more 9 year olds."

Well, thanks to a little invention called the Internet I have been able to download the episode and watch it as much as I want! SHOCK! As for why, I’m doing this because I enjoy it, I enjoy Glee, and many people enjoy the things I post because they have the brain capacity to comprehend something after they’ve seen it - unlike yourself who obviously has the mental agility of a goldfish.

I’ve been liveblogging Glee episodes for months now and if my posts are on your dash then obviously you follow me. Do us both a favour and click UNFOLLOW! BITCH! In case you haven’t noticed, I blog Glee things all week round you daft twit so if you don’t like it why did you follow me in the first place.

Also, I don’t approve of nine year-olds using social networking like Tumblr - mainly because of fucks like you.

Kindly fuck off and go hate on people somwhere else because I won’t be standing for your shit or be bullied by your ignorant, laughable self.

Some things that irritate me on YouTube…

1

I read certain comments around YouTube on people’s covers of songs that never cease to annoy.

…when people think their opinion is the most important thing in the world on matters of music because they have studied it at some level at some point in their lives. EARTH TO FOOLS: I know of plenty of people who study music BECAUSE THEY SUCK AT IT and also, just because you know how to read sheet music doesn’t mean you are more in-tune with sound. You ain’t so special so shut it.

…is that some people think that by singing in a higher octave one can magically avoid going flat on notes… What the actual fuck? Earth to idiots. People have the most control over their voice in their strongest range. Therefore, if someone’s voice is more comfortable in a lower octave they are more likely to avoid bum notes in that range. FOOLS!

…when some people point out minor things like “you messed up the words in that line” or “you missed that note.” NO ONE CARES! I’m SOOOO sorry that I can’t afford to go book into a studio and have them master and smooth my audio for this amateur YouTube video. I’M SO SORRY FOR BEING A HUMAN WHO IS NOT PERFECT!

…and lastly, people who can not appreciate different kinds of voices. So often are there comments where people say “sing this higher (oh sure, because I want to sound more like every other poppy, guitar playing guy - this is what I do)” or “don’t use so much vibrato because they don’t do that in the original (this is a cover not a copy…)”
