Allow me to translate to Carolina.

“Nothing, forget it” - NOTHING FORGET IT. Stop bein’ all up in my grill I GOTZ THIS.

“Are you tired?” - ARE YOU TIRED? You look tired. I think you need a nap. Or a sandwich.

“I’m okay.” - I’M OKAY.

“I’m cold.” - I’M FUCKING COLD.

“Leave me alone.” - Leave me alone. I probably need a nap or sandwich. Or nap-sandwich combination.

“I love you.”- I love you!

Hope this was a handy guide for all of you who might be confused.

Thank God you disagree, Cara! These things annoy me so much. Women get so frustrated at men because “they can’t understand that we say one thing but mean another.” Well here’s a tip for you, TRY SAYING WHAT YOU MEAN! If you’re in a relationship with a guy, he WANTS to help you and provide for you and impress you with his caring side - well, at least I hope he does, if not “that’s a deal breaker” (I have been watching 30 Rock…). Try helping him out.

Another thing. Women love to say “communication is essential to a healthy relationship.” This is very true, so why are you essentially LYING when you say one thing and mean another. GAH!
