I had a drama teacher who was a bit posh and self-assured and anyway I was part of the backstage crew for a community theatre play she was in. She held a dinner before our first rehearsal for all the cast to meet each other and strike up some sort of acquaintance and by the end of the night we were sitting in her lounge room and she was performing songs from musicals for us (um, yeah, I’m not even joking) and this was one of them. It was hilarious because it was midnight and she burst into this operatic number in her suburban home.

Just to show people that Glee has amazing music, amazing talent and that a lot of music on the radio at the moment is shit in comparison. I don’t even listen to the radio, I connect my iPod through a radio device.

This is as good as I could do because I don’t really have anything to suit this day’s challenge. I am scarred by Sweeny Todd. I watched it when it came out and - well, let’s just say I have a natural sensitivity toward vibes and serial killers rank fairly highly on the list of things that freak me out completely. Any song from Sweeny Todd is acompanied by many bad vibes and memories.
For years my manifestation of fear was Sweeny Todd. When I’d run down the hall to my room after the lights turned off or when I was convinced there was a serial killer on the other side of the bathroom door - you know, those moments of illogical fear - it was always him.
