- Tina is basically the voice of everyone watching the show as she shrieks about how completely unqualified Finn is to run a Glee club or direct a school musical. Luckily Finn looks like he’s 30 because the illusion of age is the only shred of believability this plan, to have a 19 year old, who graduated 6 months ago, run the two largest facets of the McKinley extracurricular arts program with no supervision whatsoever, has.
I feel like Tina is just a joke now. She literally has about 10% more screen time than usual and is continually overlooked for everything. Are we supposed to just laugh about this now because it’s so ridiculous that the other option is jumping off of a cliff?

I am upset about Tina and Mike breaking up. But it also seems really false. They were more in love than any of the other couples on the show. Like, ridiculously over-the-top in love because Glee didn’t want to give them complications and the resulting screen time that involves. I suppose then it’s only tradition that with four lines they would be swept under the rug.
Bleh, there’s this thing shows do sometimes at the end of a season and the beginning that I just call resetting. It’s where they open up opportunities for characters in the new season by resetting them to a state of non-attachment. However, it has a tendency to be easily botched - case and point: Tina and Mike’s break-up.

I can’t deal with all this drama about Tina’s episode last night. Largely it’s been made into an act of Racism. Seriously people, get a grip. Do you know what last night was? It was the writers saying “whoops we screwed over Tina but we’re going to give her all of next season so let’s go to Nationals woo!” Do you seriously expect them to do a major character overhaul and shift the dynamic of the club to showcase a junior the episode before Nationals? It’s probably why she was made a junior at the beginning of the season. Tina said it herself: “team player all the way.” Not everyone gets to be the star of the show. Yes she’s an original member and yes she deserves more solos for that reason but in a way her lack of storyline is a realistic one and her dedication to helping the team could be seen as inspiring if you were willing to change your perspective. AND SHE GETS ALL OF NEXT SEASON. And next season you’ll probably all be complaining she has too many solos and you’l just be wanting more Klaine long-distance scenes and less Finchel long-distance scenes just like old times.

While I 100% support Tina’s claim to more attention - because it is beyond absurd how much she is ignored - I do have to agree that she chose an awful moment to express herself and Nationals should be given to the seniors.

I miss Mike and Tina having couple screen time. Like, even if they never have any lines ever it would still be nice if they could remind me every now and then that they’re still happy.

Whenever is see a photo of the original cast of glee cast it hits me just how much they screwed Jenna over.
