Something that pisses me off is when you aren’t happy with your job and it’s just not doing anything for you. So you say as much to someone and they respond with “well, that’s just life” or “that’s reality, get over it”.
How about fucking no.
Firstly, if I’m complaining about something it’s because I need to vent and you are being incredibly unhelpful in an almost hostile way.
Secondly, I absolutely, vehemently, 100% refuse to accept a reality in which I have to be satisfied with a job that makes me feel wasted and melancholy. It’s literally painful for me to hear you say that because it goes against everything I believe about what my life will be. Because to me a life where I’m sitting in an office wishing I wasn’t there is one that I may as well not be alive for.
So no.
And yes I realise I have to make money somehow and I’m not going to like every job I have so will you please stop patronising me and talking down to me like I’m an ignoramus just because I’ve spent a lot of my adult years unemployed (or rather self-employed). BEING EMPLOYED IN A JOB YOU HAVE NO PASSION FOR AND NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT IT DOESN’T MAKE YOU BETTER THAN ME IT MAKES YOU THE IDIOT.

7I cannot stress enough how horribly unfair it is to be born in Australia and want nothing more than to be a performer. It’s like being born in Asia and not liking soy sauce.

I have recently done a design project for a company where I made Flash animations teaching numeracy skills to idiots who choose trades because they are unable to learn anything properly and dropped out of school as society told them growing up that being smart and a boy is incongruous and impossible so they never tried. Anyway, these animations have been approved by the company making the resource AND the company the resource is for. Or so I thought. Today I receive an email with heaps of changes to make and they are all anal, ridiculous and plain stupid requests that no one will benefit from.
I WANT TO SLAP SOME BITCHES DOWN!
